Club of Aesthetic Group Gymnastics and Rhythmic Gymnastics HEYMO
Starts as Rhythmic Gymnastics Club in 1992, under the direction of the Sisters Heidy and Monica Ortega Rosado, the first private club of GR in the State, since its inception gave Yucatan and Mexico great representatives in various national and international events, taking the best exponents of the country.
In 2013, HEYMO began to teach Aesthetic Group Gymnastics – AGG, having pioneer national teams and representatives in both the children’s categories and the women categories.
The HEYMO club has training from recreational level gymnasts too competitive level, offering training programs to gymnasts of individual and group competition in Aesthetic Group Gymnastics and Rhythmic Gymnastics for all ages, levels and abilities.
For the HEYMO Club, the stages of development of each gymnast are very important, so the training groups are divided by age, levels and conditions in a way to achieve training programs according to each group, achieving maximum sports development. Instilling in every moment love of sports, teamwork, camaraderie. We are committed to FORMING CHAMPIONS OF LIFE.
We have a large staff of highly trained coaches and judges in the sport, where all have been high performance gymnasts and are constantly given training courses for the best development of their teaching and training program and capability, always looking at all gymnasts regardless of level, the maximum sports development.
We have an International training program “CAMP FOR CHAMPIONS,” where year after year we have INVITED gymnasts of world and Olympic level such as: Aliya Garayeva, AZE; Nataliia Godunko; UKR; Yana Kudryavdseva, RUS; Carolina Rodríguez, ESP; Ganna Rizacdinova, UKR; Margarita Mamun, RUS; Julia Bravikova, RUS; to teach various master classes, where gymnasts from different parts of the Mexican Republic as well as invited countries such as Colombia, the United States, Canada, Costa Rica, Cuba, Brazil, Panama among others meet.
We have received important awards from our state as Sports Merit both trainers and the gymnasts of our club.
We currently have online training which opened the doors for us to have gymnasts from different states of the Mexican Republic as well as gymnasts from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia.
Since 2003 HEYMO has organized competitions for gymnasts of school and competitive level where we have had the participation of more than 1000 gymnasts from different parts of Latin America, during 2020 HEYMO has organized 10 Masters Class and 3 online competitions via Zoom seeking to continue the development of each gymnast, where it gave us the opportunity to reach more than 30 countries of the Americas, Asia and Europe.
Currently in our club is the President of AGG Mexico, Heidy Ortega Rosado, as well as the National Technical Secretary of AGG Mexico.
