Ritmika Rhythmic Gymnastics Club founded 1980 is one of the leading rhythmic gymnastics clubs in Canada. Over the years club has grown into a multicultural gymnastics organization
offering rhythmic and aesthetic group gymnastics programmes for all age and ability levels.
Ritmika s recreational programs are for physical fitness and fun and where basic level skills are taught in a friendly and playful environment and where the first “gymnastics bug” and love for
movement is inserted into young gymnasts.
Ritmika Elite performance programmes require more commitment. Advance level skills are choreographed into enjoyable performance numbers and gymnasts in these groups have
thrilled audiences from local community events to prestigious international events to list a few:
such as International Gymnaestradas in Denmark, Holland, Germany, Sweden, Portugal and Austria.
Over the years many international high level coaches who have an impressive list of achievements and many years of experience have produced exceptional results.
Ritmika competitive athletes have been the best in the country, travelled to all 6 continents and represented Canada in all major national and international competitions including World
Championships and 2 Olympic Games ( in 2004 Athens Games -Mary Sanders and 2008 Beijing Games Alexandra Orlando.
Our Aesthetic Group Gymnastics teams have been competing provincially, nationally and internationally including representing Canada at IFAGG World Championships.
With its exceptional reputation and outstanding results , Ritmika is recognized both in Canada and internationally as a world class Rhythmic and Aesthetic Group Gymnastics club whose gymnasts are great ambassadors to this beautiful sport
In 2020 Club celebrated its 40th Anniversary. Club founder Annely Riga is a well respected expert in the field who has been in a leadership position in Canada and internationally for many years.
She is the President of Canadian Aesthetic Group Gymnastics Federation and Vice President of IFAGG
